The Providence partnership with the Shannon Women and Children's Center 

is to be an encouragement to families and shaff in many ways, including but no limited to the following:

 

• Assist/volunteer with new moms

• Rocking babies in the NICU

• Sitting with sick children

• Organizing birthday parties for pediatric cancer patients

• Baking cookies

• Holding a hand, sharing Shannon Women & Children’s Center tears a

• Assisting dog therapy with pediatric patients 

• Knitting/crocheting blankets booties & gowns for NICU babies 

• Sewing/quilting incubator coverlets 

• Compiling & decorating patient packets 

• Coloring art for pediatric patient doors
