SOLI DEO GLORIA – GLORY TO GOD ALONE
The Providence Music Ministry is committed to leading the worship of our Great and Holy God as He has revealed Himself in His Word. We sing Hymns and songs, both ancient and modern, and draw from the great reformed catechisms to understand that:
​
1) The Chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever; and
2) Our only hope in life and death is that we are not our own but wholly belong to Christ. He has paid for our
sins, set us free, and watches over us so that all things work together for our good and His glory; and
3) The first commandment requires us to know and acknowledge our God to be the only true God, and to
worship and glorify Him accordingly.
Informed by these things, we believe the choice of sacred songs to be a choice of considerable weight. We look to blend rich theological lyrics and engaging melodies that are congregational as we worship the Lord in song.
